Save time and save the planet too!

Get back to your roots!

There is no place too small for you to create your own garden. Even if you live in an apartment (as some of us do!) with no yard at all, you can start a container food garden.

Container gardening requires less soil and takes up less space. Container gardening suits a busy schedule. So, if even if you use up time blogging, surfing the web, and doing all the other activities we 21 st century humans do, you need not feel stressed by a container garden.

Fun containers to use for this type of gardening are bushel baskets, drums, wooden boxes, old milk jugs and gallon cans. It is totally up to you what type of containers you want to use for your new garden.

There should be some sunlight for the plants to grow, so don’t keep them in the dark!

Place them at waist height, that way you don’t have to bend to work on them.

Make sure you locate the plant container conveniently so that it takes less time to water the plants more easily and you can see their growth without any hassle.

I think an added benefit of container gardening is that you can re-use water bottles and other used containers. That way not only save on money on food, you also save the environment in the process.

Now that’s really getting revved up at the green light
